The pretty town of Dromod is situated on shore where Lough Boderg (Lake of the Red Cow) and Lough Bofin (Lake of the White Cow) intertwine.
The picturesque harbour really comes to life during the summer months and allows for easy access to the town for passing cruisers. The sculpture in the middle of the town is magnificent. Entitled ‘The Weeping Tree’, it was made from a single piece of bog oak by a local craftsman.
