The Drumshanbo Outdoor Swimming Pool is one of Ireland’s few outdoor pools. The heated pool is in the stunning setting of Acres Lake.
The Pool is part of the Aura Leisure group and is very well maintained. There are shallow and deep ends, individual changing areas and showers. Swimming hats are required. Tennis courts and a small playground are also available.

Acres Lake
Acres Lake, Drumshanbo, is also home to the start of the Shannon Blueway and the Acres Lake Boardwalk. The 600m boardwalk is part of a 6.5 km linear walking and cycling trail from Acres Lake in Drumshanbo to Battlebridge Lock, near Leitrim Village.
The Sliabh an Iarainn Visitor Centre is also located here and provides a fascinating insight into the Industrial Heritage of the area.
