Moorlands Equestrian Centre is a family run riding school based on the shores of Lough Allen. Its scenic, off-road setting, between Sliabh an Iarainn and the Arigna mountains, provides a perfect base for lessons, treks, cross-country ride-outs and pony camps.
Moorlands qualified instructors and staff ensure that everyone has a safe and memorable visit. All horses are gentle and enthusiastic, with a variety available to suit all standards of rider.
Children are especially well catered for with regular Pony Camps and Kids Clubs which provide the ideal environment for them to take their first few steps into the wonderful world of horses.
Established in 1993, Moorlands are both AIRE Approved (Association of Irish Riding Establishments) and Fáilte Ireland approved.
