Leitrim Tourism Photo Competition

The 2025 Leitrim Photo competition is here. Unleash your creativity by submitting your photo of your favourite place/ walk/ or heritage site in Leitrim and be in with a chance to feature in the 2026 Leitrim Tourism Calendar as well as a €50 voucher. Whether you’re a professional or an enthusiastic smartphone photographer, the contest is open to all.

The second competition round is now open!

We are now asking for pictures with the theme of spring/summer in Leitrim.

Photos can be submitted by direct message on our Facebook or Instagram page.

The closing date for entries is the 30th of May 2025. For this competition, we will have an external judge pick their top 15 photos from all photos received. These photos will be published on Leitrim Tourism Facebook and Instagram page. The photo with the most amount of likes across both channels will be the winner.

Terms and Conditions
1- The competition is open to over 18’s only.
2- The entrant must be following @leitrimtourism on Facebook and Instagram to enter.
3- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

4- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5- Route to entry for the competition: please send us a picture YOU have taken of your favourite place in Leitrim and why in a direct message on Instagram or Facebook. You will receive a confirmation of your entry.
6- The competition is being run over Facebook and Instagram.
7- Only one entry will be accepted per person.

8-15 images will be chosen by an external Judge for the public vote on Facebook and Instagram.
9- Closing date for entry will be on 30th of May 2025. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted. The winner will be announced at the beginning of June.
10- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
11- Leitrim Tourism reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
12- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
13- Winners will be chosen as a result of a popular vote.
14- The winner will be notified by Facebook/Instagram Messenger.
15- The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
16- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry.
18- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta, X or any other Social Network.

19- The top 15 images will be chosen by an external judge for our next competitions and the public will get a chance to vote on those ten images.
