Reading & Writing Poetry Course with Gerry Boland – 13th September – 18th October.
During this six-week poetry course on Wednesday mornings from 11am – 12.30pm, facilitated by poet Gerry Boland, participants will get to meet other poets, read, discuss and write poetry.

Mohill writer and famer, Gerry Bohan will launch his debut book, ‘The Clainings Tree and Other Stories from the Heart of Leitrim,’ on Saturday, 16th September at 1pm in the Jury Room Café at The Dock.

John Carty & Michael McGoldrick with Matt Griffin
For this celebratory tour, John and Michael will explore the exciting and innovative combination of the banjo with uilleann pipes, as well as utilising fiddle, tenor guitar, flute and low whistles. They will be joined on the night by the much sought-after accompanist Matt Griffin on guitar.
Culture Night – 22nd September 2023.
The Dock will present an eclectic mixture of free events for all ages. You are invited to dip into fun and interactive activities including a children’s puppet show, a community exhibition, a youth trad session, a screening of local short films, and a performance by cellist Eimear Reidy to round off the night.
Folk Threads – Emer Dunne 29th September.
Folk Threads, is a unique, diverse, and versatile folk music show that brings together the ethereal voice of Emer Dunne and her superbly talented musicians. This performance will link the threads of Irish, Scottish, and American folk song and music.
