Hands-on History Family Workshop
Families have the opportunity to get hands-on with their prehistoric past with Scéal Heritage, as they work with clay to create the type of pottery made and used during the Stone Age, thousands of years ago.
Participants learn about everyday life in the Stone Age and are guided to make a simple ‘pinch pot’ using only their hands and clay. They then have the opportunity to use a variety of pottery tools to design and decorate their creations. The pots provide a unique visual souvenir of what was learned about the Stone Age past, and all members of the family are welcome to participate in this workshop!
