The Irish Traditional Music Archive is home to the largest, most comprehensive collection of Irish traditional music, song, and dance in the world.
ITMA presents an evening of traditional music, song and dance from four of Ireland’s leading contemporary traditional artists: Iarla Ó Lionáird (singer), Aoife Ní Bhriain (fiddle), Derek Hickey (accordion) and Stephanie Keane (Sean Nós dancer).
These artists have engaged with ITMA’s artistic programmes, including its flagship series Drawing from the Well, an initiative which connects artists with archival materials to inspire new art.
ITMA’s mission is to be the national public archive and resource centre for Irish traditional music, song and dance, and the globally-recognised specialist advisory agency to advance appreciation, knowledge, and the practice of Irish traditional music.
