Carrick on Shannon Golf Club is located close to the River Shannon. Against the backdrop of the Arigna Mountains the course sweeps down to Drumharlow Lake and is simply spectacular. It is an ideal location for your golf outing, whether it is a sociable fourball, society or corporate event.
The 18-hole parkland course has been developed and constructed to the highest USGA specifications. The course has a mixed landscape of mature parklands and open marshlands and there are some very challenging holes, not least the 8th hole where the tee-box is surrounded by water! The 13th hole is a par 3 – just 200 metres “short” and has all the hallmarks of becoming rather special in Irish golfing folklore.
Facilities include a six bay driving range, practice chipping/putting area, a golf shop with trolley/buggy hire and the Bunker Bar and Restaurant.
