The Organic Centre Garden Party with Neven Maguire

July 16 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

neven11

This year’s Garden Party with patron Neven Maguire will also feature award winning garden designer and former Super Garden Winner Leonie Cornelius and GIY founder member Michael Kelly.

Tickets for this event are €15 from www.theorganiccentre.ie

Gardening and organic growing at The Organic Centre was always much more than just producing food.
It is about good, fertile soil, biodiversity, unusual vegetables, exciting new varieties, hedgerows with wild edible plants, forest gardening and wild flower meadows, new food trends from sourdough to fermenting, from raw foods to seaweed, from renewable energy to traditional crafts, but it always was and still is about people and communities.

This year’s event features activities for all the family:
Cooking demonstration with Neven Maguire
GIY-ing with Michael Kelly
How to design a garden with health in mind with Leonie Cornelius
The Pop-up Hedgerow bar with Gaby Wieland will serve wild fermented drinks and The Grass Roof Café with chef Aisling Stone will be serving great dishes.
How to look after your soil with Ingrid Foley
The top 10 edible weeds with Hans Wieland
Displays on unusual vegetables and guided tours around the gardens and polytunnels.
We will bake pizza in our outdoor clay oven.
Raffle and fundraising for The Organic Centre.
