Lough Rynn Harvest Festival and Vintage Day

September 3, 2017

profile

The 23rd Lough Rynn Harvest Festival and Vintage Day takes place on 3 September 2017 on the grounds of the picturesque Lough Rynn Castle,Mohill, Co.Leitrim.The festival – the largest of its kind in the northwest – attracts a crowd of over 5000 people. A great family day out, it delights the crowds with its large display of quality vintage cars, tractors, stationery engines and autojumble. It’s a sentimental journey back to the farms and farm kitchens of long ago with its displays of threshing, spinning, butter and boxty making and much more. Add to this Street Theatre throughout the grounds, a large scale childrens’ entertainment section and Mick Flavin on the bandstand in the dancing area and its easy to see why this festival is billed as ‘The last big day-out of Summer.
